Terms of Use

By using the Kappa Theta Pi (“KTP”) at UW website and member portal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The site

The public pages are informational. The member portal is provided to admitted chapter members for managing points, dues, absences, and the chapter calendar.

Your account

Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. The executive board may suspend or remove access for conduct that violates chapter policy or these terms.

Dues and payments

Dues are billed to members and paid through Stripe. A late fee of $5 per day past the due date may apply, per chapter policy. Dues payments are generally non-refundable; refunds or waivers are granted only at the discretion of the executive board. Contact kappathetapi@ktpuw.org about any billing question.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or areas that are not yours.
• Do not scrape, overload, probe, or disrupt the site or its infrastructure.
• Do not misuse another member’s personal information seen through the portal.
• Do not upload unlawful content or content you do not have the right to share.

Content and marks

The Kappa Theta Pi name and letters, and University of Washington marks, belong to their respective owners and may not be used without permission.

Disclaimer and liability

The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the chapter and its members are not liable for damages arising from use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. See also our Privacy Policy.
